Zak MURASE

Established the Silicon Valley office of Global Brain, a Japanese venture capital firm, and made 14 investments. Later served as head of startup investments in Japan at Plug and Play Japan, and advised Japanese companies on their innovation activities. Currently, he is involved in setting up CVC funds for Japanese companies in Silicon Valley, supporting open innovation, and supporting Japanese startups in expanding globally. Worked at Sony for 19 years, experiencing many new business launches within the Sony Group, including the launch of the VAIO series of personal computers. Graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University.
